Evening Prayer

Father, I thank You for bringing me through this day. Your Word says in Lamentations 3 verses 22 and 23 that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness is great. I look back over this day and I see Your hand, even in the places that felt difficult or stretching or unclear.

If there is anything I am still carrying from today, whether it is worry, frustration, disappointment, or pressure, I release it to You now. I refuse to take today’s weight into tonight’s rest. Psalm 55 verse 22 says to cast my burden on the Lord and You will sustain me. I cast every burden on You and receive Your sustaining strength.

Settle my mind. Quiet my thoughts. Let Your presence fill my home and my atmosphere. Psalm 4 verse 8 declares that I will lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone make me dwell in safety. I choose to rest in that safety tonight.

Thank You for covering me. Thank You for keeping me. Thank You for being faithful from the first moment of this day to the last.
