Prayer for Overcoming Fear

Father, I come against every spirit of fear that has tried to grip my mind or weaken my faith. Let Your presence drive out every anxious thought and every fearful imagination. Strengthen my heart so I do not shrink back. Strengthen my mind so I do not panic. Strengthen my spirit so I do not surrender to intimidation. Let Your peace settle over me like a covering. Let Your courage rise within me like a fire. Silence every voice that speaks fear and amplify every word You have spoken over my life.

Your word says, “God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind” in Second Timothy chapter one verse seven. I receive that power. I receive that love. I receive that sound mind. Let every fear lose its grip. Let every anxiety lose its influence. Let every worry lose its authority. Replace fear with faith. Replace panic with peace. Replace intimidation with boldness.

I decree that fear has no place in me. I decree that my mind is sound and my spirit is steady. I decree that I walk in courage, confidence, and clarity. I decree that I overcome fear by the power of God. In Jesus name, amen.
