Prayer for Marriage

Father, I lift my marriage before You. Cover it with Your presence and strengthen it with Your grace. Let every part of this union come under Your authority. Heal what has been wounded. Restore what has been strained. Rebuild what has been weakened. Let love be purified, communication be restored, and unity be strengthened. Teach us how to honor one another, how to listen with humility, and how to speak with wisdom. Let every misunderstanding be cleared and every barrier be removed.

Your word says, “A cord of three strands is not easily broken” in Ecclesiastes chapter four verse twelve. Be the third strand in this marriage. Bind us together in purpose, in peace, and in spiritual maturity. Let Your Spirit guide our decisions and let Your wisdom shape our responses. Remove every influence that seeks to divide us. Silence every voice that speaks against what You have joined together. Protect our covenant from spiritual attack, emotional drift, and relational fatigue. Let forgiveness flow freely and let grace be abundant.

I decree that our marriage is covered. I decree that our marriage is strengthened. I decree that our marriage is aligned with the will of God. I decree that unity, peace, and love rest upon this home. This marriage will grow. This marriage will endure. This marriage will reflect the heart of God. In Jesus name, amen.
