Prayer for Protection

Father, I ask for Your covering to surround me on every side. Your Word says in Psalm 91 that You are my refuge and my fortress, and I trust in You. Let Your presence be a shield around my mind, my body, my spirit, and my home. Guard every doorway, every pathway, and every place connected to my life.

Protect my thoughts from fear and my heart from anything that tries to unsettle me. Let no plan, scheme, or assignment formed against me take root or gain ground. Expose what I cannot see. Block what is not from You. Strengthen my discernment so I recognize what is Yours and reject what is not.

Cover my family, my relationships, my work, and everything You have entrusted to me. Let Your angels stand watch and let Your peace rest heavily over my atmosphere. Psalm 121 says that You neither slumber nor sleep, and I thank You for watching over me with unfailing attention and care.

Thank You for being my protector, my defender, and my safe place. Thank You for keeping me in ways I know and in ways I do not see.
