Prayer for Purity of Heart

Father, search my heart and purify every place within me. Your Word says that the pure in heart will see God, so cleanse the motives, desires, and intentions that cloud my vision of You. Remove the bitterness that tries to take root. Remove the pride that tries to rise. Remove the jealousy, comparison, and insecurity that distort my perception. Heal the wounds that shaped unhealthy responses. Heal the memories that still influence my reactions. Heal the places where disappointment hardened me.

Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Purify my thoughts. Purify my desires. Purify my relationships. Purify my ambitions. Let my heart be aligned with Your truth, not my emotions. Let my heart be anchored in Your love, not my fears. Let my heart be shaped by Your Word, not my past.

I surrender every hidden place to You. I surrender every unspoken struggle. I surrender every internal battle. Wash me in Your presence. Refine me through Your Spirit. Transform me through Your Word. I decree that my heart is being purified, my motives are being corrected, and my spirit is being renewed. Make me a vessel You can trust. Amen.
