Prayer for Spiritual Maturity

Father, grow me up in the things of the Spirit. Break every cycle of immaturity, instability, and emotional reactions that pull me off course. Teach me to respond with wisdom and not impulse. Teach me to stand firm when pressure comes. Teach me to choose righteousness even when it costs me. Strengthen my discernment so I can recognize what is from You and what is not.

Your word says, “Solid food belongs to those who are mature, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil” (Hebrews 5:14). Train me. Develop me. Stretch me. Let my spiritual senses be sharp and my foundation be strong.

I decree that I am rooted, grounded, and established in Your truth. I reject spiritual laziness. I reject double‑mindedness. I reject every pattern that keeps me spiritually shallow. I decree that I am growing, maturing, and advancing. My responses are maturing. My decisions are maturing. My walk is maturing. In Jesus’ name, amen.
