Prayer for Wisdom

Father, I ask You for wisdom that is pure, steady, and rooted in Your truth. Your Word says in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask God, who gives generously without finding fault. I ask for that wisdom today. Let my thoughts be guided by Your clarity and not by my own understanding. Let my decisions reflect Your insight and not my emotions or assumptions.

Give me the ability to see beyond the surface. Give me discernment to recognize what is from You and what is not. Let Your Spirit lead me in every conversation, responsibility, and assignment. Proverbs 2:6 says that You give wisdom and that knowledge and understanding come from Your mouth. I receive that wisdom now. Let it settle in my mind and anchor my steps.

Remove confusion. Remove hesitation. Remove every voice that competes with Yours. Let Your counsel be the voice that rises above all others. Let Your direction be the path I follow without fear or second‑guessing.

Thank You for being the God who leads, the God who teaches, and the God who reveals. Thank You for giving me wisdom for what is in front of me and understanding for what is ahead.
